Dear Colleagues &
Friends
It is our great
privilege and honour to invite you to the ISNR 2008, 11th
Annual National Conference of Indian Society of
Neuroradiology, to be convened by Department of Radio
Diagnosis, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical
Sciences, Lucknow (U.P.), India from November 13~16, 2008.
We are fortunate that International Society for Magnetic
Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) is supporting us in their out
reach program this year as well.
The ISNR Annual
Conference is a great way for friends and colleagues from
the Neuro Radiology, Magnetic Resonance and allied
communities to get together and share their knowledge.
The conference
will cover a host of diagnostic neuroradiology and
neurointerventional topics. A one-day workshop on
Neurointerventional procedures with live case demonstration
and interactive discussion is planned. The theme for
workshop would be intracranial arterio-venous malformations.
In addition various other topics such as aneurysms, stroke,
and spinal lesions will be dealt with.
The diagnostic
aspect will cover brain tumours, some aspects of stroke,
pediatric neuroradiology, neurodegenerative disorders,
neurotrauma, and recent advances in neuroimaging. Leading
national and international faculty will deliver the talks
with time for interaction. Ample opportunity will be
available for students to imbibe basics. Sessions like
morning physics lectures, evening film reading sessions,
proffered oral paper presentations, and poster presentations
are some of the features planned.
To pursue these
objectives, we would once again be backed by different
talented committees to take care of the logistics of the
conference.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you at Lucknow in
November 2008 to benefit from the resourceful scientific
program and to experience the historical culture as well as
